Cherry Clafoutis

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Nature’s Touch Frozen Cherries
  • 1 cup white flour
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup cane sugar
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 3 tbsp. fresh cream or Greek yogurt
  • ½ vanilla bean
  • ¼ cup white chocolate
  • ¼ cup slivered almonds
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 16 oz Nature’s Touch Frozen Cherries
  • 8 oz white flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 oz cane sugar
  • 6 oz milk
  • 3 tbsp. fresh cream or Greek yogurt
  • ½ vanilla bean
  • 2 oz white chocolate
  • 2 oz slivered almonds
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400˚F (200 ˚C).
  2. Grease a 1.5 L pie plate and sprinkle with frozen cherries.
  3. Combine sugar and eggs until smooth.
  4. Stir in flour and salt, then slowly add milk, vanilla, and fresh cream.
  5. Gently add crushed white chocolate and almonds with a wooden spoon.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden.
Be bold! Add yummy mixed berries to cherries.
