As a result of an internal initiative from one of Nature’s Touch’s employee, we have been involved with the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation for the past few years. The Nature’s Touch team has come together to raise funds and awareness for this cause and on Sunday September 18, 2016, we successfully and proudly raised more than any other participating team, with over 20k for this exceptional organization.
We sampled our Nature’s Touch fresh frozen fruits to over 450 participants and shared all the advantages of eating frozen fruit, eating healthy and the difference between organic and pesticide-free fruit! We had the honor to exchange information with consumers about healthy food choices for themselves and their families. Eating more fruit and vegetables can help reduce heart disease*, so what better way to get involved than giving the participants a head start on produce!
We’d like to thank the Heart and Stroke Foundation, our dedicated staff, our generous sponsors, and all the families who came out to walk/run in honor of those who have been affected by this disease.
