Hawaiian berry smoothie bowl

The perfect blend! Frozen and fresh fruit come together tropically in one bowl for this morning Hawaiian getaway!

Serves: 1-2 Smoothie bowls

1 frozen banana, cut in chunks
1 to 1 ¼ cups tropical juice
3/4 cups of Nature’s Touch Frozen Organic Dark Sweet Cherries or Nature's Touch Ruby Red Cherry Blend
3/4 cup of Nature’s Touch Organic Sliced or Tested for Pesticide Residue Strawberries

1/4 to 1/3 cup granola or muesli cereal
2 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp coconut (shavings, as in the photograph, or grated)
2 tbsp roasted macadamia nuts
Your choice of fruits (e.g.: Nature's Touch frozen cherries, cut in two)


  1. Put 1 cup of juice and the fruits into the mixer bowl.
    (Tip: The juice should always be poured in first so that the blades can move easily).
  2. Cover and mix at high speed for approximately 2 minutes
  3. If the smoothie appears to be too thick, add a little more juice and mix again.
  4. Pour the smoothie into a bowl until it is approximately 3/4 full.
  5. Add toppings!
Create a “Fruit Soup” for your little ones by using the rest of your smoothie and adding 1/4 cup juice of your choice, 1/2 cup of water and 1/4 cup of vanilla yogurt. Put all of the ingredients into a blender and mix for another minute. The result will be very liquid, smooth and slightly frothy. Pour into a bowl and fill with bite-sized fresh or frozen fruits!
